Can't update content.

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Can't update content.

Post by ebroon »

I have just gone through the process of upgrading from 1.11.2.1 "Isabela"
to 1.11.10 “Pinzon”
All seems to be fine until I try to update my content in admin. Content does not refresh on the front end.

I can see changes in the admin preview (though stylesheets don't seem to be previewing)
Upgraded modules.
I have tried clearing cache.
I have 755 chmod on directories, and 644 on files. (ok?)
checksum is ok.
I seem to be able to upload images ok.
Can anyone guide me on the possible problem I have missed
thanks

For anyone else with a similar problem, (after upgrading, everything looks ok but pages do not update)

1. .htaccess with rewrite rules had not copied over when i moved to a new directory
2. mod rewrite and .html in config didn't work without .htaccess

I also deleted some old modules but I think the .htaccess was the problem
