Error message

Post by peterlane »

I am using CMS Made Simple 1.5.4 "Carolina". Recently when I log in I get the following error messge
Warning: Unknown: write failed: Disk quota exceeded (122) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/var/lib/php5) in Unknown on line 0

I then cannot access any of my pages. How can I get this error sorted.
Thanks for any help.

The reason for this error is very simple.

There's no more space on your host account. Clear folders /tmp /templates_c and /tmp/cache manually via FTP.

By the way - your CMSMS version is very old. You should update as soon as possible. Feel free to ask for professional help.

Login to your hosting control panel, there is normally a way to check your disc space usage. There might be an email inbox that has grown very large, or some other system producing log files that are very large.

http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/upgrading/old-versions shows you how to update your CMSMS (not trivial since your version is very old).
