I want to add something like an event to CMS and that visitors can subscribe to this event with their name and mailadres.
Like facebook event > will attend.
Of course I have to see which users subscribed.
Is this possible?
Event manager could be an option but is to complex for this (I think).

Events Manager is a good solution for this - we’re about to launch a site using it to allow individuals to register for events. We're leveraging it's functionality quite heavily (we actually sponsored some of the additional development of the module), but it does allow for fairly easy self-registration, or integrates with existing login procedures (in our case it resides on a client extranet, so if you are already logged in then you can register, and if you aren't a user it lets you sign up then register, without any need for admin involvement.
It does have a few rough edges, but if you're familiar with how FEU and Self Registration work then this is a great solution.
