ERROR: The CGExtensions module could not be found

Post by inyerface »

No kidding...

But I'm trying to login to install it. And I think I'm running some sort of a 1.9.2 / 10.0.3 hybrid with non compatible Modules. Files went missing and I attempted to restore what I thought was the correct version.

Anybody know what can be done with this? I'd love to tell you the details of my CMS but I can't get in...

Rename the folder of troublemaking modules to __example to get the admin running.

Thanks. I went one by one and a refresh every time with no luck. I thought I was getting somewhere but now the site just loads for ever and ends up being a white page. It's going to be a long night..

This all started when I couldn't remember the version of the CMS installed. My server got hacked and somehow backups from 2 years ago were restored with only the recent database. I installed the files I thought were correct, was asked for an upgrade (that's where I went wrong) and went ahead. Now the News module which containes thousands of articles are gone... well in the database but can't see the folder in the admin and doesn't display on the site.

Lucky I'm playing around on a backup copy so not to make things worse. Any advice how to find correct this would be great!!

Thanks!!

You can additionally make a look to database. The last table named ..._version should contain some information too.

If you need help feel free to pm me ;-).
