[solved] ListIt2 instance permissions not showing

I’m the super admin user, the one with all permissions and I’m trying to assign various CMS permissions to other groups/users. I have several ListIt2 instances and all are showing six permissions that are selectable except one instance that only shows one permission (see image).

If I log in as non-admin user I can’t even see the module in the navigation. Why is that? Am I going crazy? Am I blind to the obvious because I worked too long on that site?

Just FYI: All the directory permissions (CHMOD) are the same for all instances (owner is _www, permissions are 755).

Please shed some light on this, I’ll be forever grateful.

Hello? Anybody here?

I have the feeling something is screwed up in the database. I’m viewing the permissions table and see permission ID 1, 2, and 4, etc. The ListIt instance entries are going from ID 68 to 97; but the (only) one entry for the listit2downloads instance is ID 3. What’s up with that?
Uninstalling and reinstalling ListIt and any instance didn’t change anything. In fact, any new instance only showed one permission.

I set up a new CMS with empty database for testing and installed ListIt2 and created an instance and everything works fine (database has no permission ID 3 but the instance IDs are added to the end).

Oh, I forgot: I have ListItExtended version 1.4 and the latest CMS version. I upgraded to 1.4.1 before but had an issue with a template so I changed it back to 1.4 (restoring all files and database from a backup I made beforehand).

Anybody got any idea?

OK, thanks for nothing, I guess.
In the meantime I found out myself what was wrong. Obviously in the database the information which permission was installed last wasn’t in sync with the number of permissions in general. It’s probably not worth to lay it all out here. Let’s just say I fixed it.

Thanks for replying, zaidcrowe. If you or anyone is actually interested I’m certainly willing to explain what is happening in the database. I just thought nobody would care anyway.
