Re: showtime module: slides scalable?
I think he means "responsive".
That's one of my biggest concerns, too. The module obviously was written for pages with fixed width, which is a no-go nowadays.
Cheers,
Alex

Re: showtime module: slides scalable?
Dr. Css,
look at this page:
http://dev.mp-p.eu/deutsch/hime-simplex-orgtemplate/
This is almost the original simpex template - very good template.
Now scale the browser window down. You will notice that the teasure pictures in the headarea "Faster & Easier Management..." scales down to fit the width of the window.
Now try this url:
http://dev.mp-p.eu/deutsch/home-simplex/
In this template version a succeed to implement the showtime module. But when you scale down now the picture does not scale. All i could manage was to blind out this container when scaling down to 1022 pixel width. Buit the pictures in showtime don't change width.
Thankx 4 listening.

Re: showtime module: slides scalable?
There is an open feature request to make showtime responsive:

Re: showtime module: slides scalable?
One of the reasons I posted - in your earlier topic - that I don't use modules that don't allow for maximum customization.
If you would make this with e.g. ListitExtended you probably would have had more work to get it up and running, but it would work the way you made it.
That said, I don't know whether this type of slideshow transitions allow for 'resizable' content. I seams like a lot of calculating is needed for those transistions and maybe it just needs the fixed sizes to be able to do that.

Re: showtime module: slides scalable?
Partly. For a customer, I used the galleria.io jquery plugin, which is responsive. AFAIR it changes the width, but not the height.velden wrote: That said, I don't know whether this type of slideshow transitions allow for 'resizable' content. galleria.io seems to work well, and together with the listit module it should provide an acceptabe alternative.
Cheers,
Alex
