NMS / CGJobMgr stuck on "starting"

Uninstall FCKeditor it has not been supported for a long time.

Uninstall CGJobMgr and try and earlier version if it will install on your CMS. I am running version 1.2.15 on CMS 1.11.7

I tried with version 1.2.15 and also with all the steps that you posted JohnnyB and still not working. And it didn't write anything to the error_log. When I clicked on the link to run the jobs and clicked the link to continue, it was just a blank page, no debug info.

One thing I wonder about is phpversion: 5.3.3.
5.3.28 is the most recent stable release and addresses a security issue found in older 5.3.x versions. I don't know, when you said you got a white screen it makes me think there is a PHP error.

If not, then there is a smarty tag error in one of the templates (home page template, the template assigned to the page set to process cgjobmgr, the email message template, etc.)

BTW, I'm running NMS 2.7.4, CGJobMgr 1.3.1 on 2 separate servers running CMSMS 1.11.9 problem free. One server is running php 5.3.28 and the other is running php 5.3.27 (I don't manage this one, otherwise I'd upgrade the php...)

Maybe there is a bug fix in the newer php 5.3.x versions that will help
