Hi
I have noticed on a fairly recent install that I am getting file in the tmp directory with truncated file names.
eg I would normally expect a file name similar to:
ad83cfdd496e0d74150f5e8179bf0ea1e88e3ac2.tpl_body.24
However I am getting quite a few file names like this:
ainnav.php - it took me a while to realise that this was mainnav.php
Any clues to why this is happening, should I worry about it?

Re: tmp files, file names truncated
I don't think it would be a problem. It is probably the menu caching.
Are you having any other issues with the site?
Have you changed any of the settings under Global Settings recently?
What's inside one of the files - content from your main navigation?

Re: tmp files, file names truncated
Hi
The site seems to be running fine.
None of the global settings have been changed. Although I have enabled pretty urls.
The odd thing is that on the local server (MAMP) the file names are fine. The only difference is the pretty urls being enabled on the live server.
THere does seem to be some permission problems, as I can't download or delete the tmp files from the server via ftp.

downloading or deleting the tmp files from the server via ftp isn't a problem at all.
