Displaying a parent level of the hierarchy

Post by jramsdell »

Hi All,

I'm new to the system and have a question. My site is split into 5 main sections and I want to display the section name on the header of each content page underneath a given section. However, I want to do this all dynamically without having to create a seperate template for each individual section. I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks!

if i understand you correctly i do the same thing, nothing in my 'shown' menu is a page...
www.multiintech.com  ok maybe just the Home is a page...
in the Content > Pages you clik add content like making a new page but when you get it you need to look at the drop down that says Content Type: normal is content in that is a section header option choose that and the whole things changes, fill the text boxes, leave the  parent as none and it will show as top level in the menu, clik submit and you have a section header you can put other pages under :. HTH

oops sorry not that i know of...  :-[
