Hello,
We use the Calguys Job Processing Manager (CGJobMgr) V 1.3
CGExtensions V1.38
CMSMS installation V1.11.9
We use the Job Processing manager to send newsletter (through the NMS module)
I'm wondering what is the "Default Page for Processing" setting. If I choose any page in this setting, CGJobMgr actually works, the job get done.
But ... what is it? I'm worried something important should be done here. Or is it simply how it should work, put any random page, and that's it?
Thanks
Calguys Job Processing Manager: Default Page for Processing
Re: Calguys Job Processing Manager: Default Page for Process
Set up a cron job to process the job such as
Code: Select all
0 * * * * wget -O /dev/null http://mysite.com/CGJobMgr/process >/dev/null 2>&1Re: Calguys Job Processing Manager: Default Page for Process
Hey Applejack, thanks for the answer
actually, I don't want to set up a cron job, I can launch the job manually, it's totally ok.
I just wanted to know what this default page is for.
Or where you saying that this "default page" is used only to setup a cron job? That's not what I observed actually.
thanks

Re: Calguys Job Processing Manager: Default Page for Process
Just set up a "dummy" page which of course doesn't have show in menu ticked. I don't remember why this is needed you would have to ask Calguy.
Re: Calguys Job Processing Manager: Default Page for Process
ok thanks a lot, we'll do like that.
I guess i don't add [solved] to subject, though
