This is what I want:
On my website I want to offer customers a free ebook to download. They only have to give me their name and email adres ( in a form with a download button) and after that they get send an email with a (secured) link from wich they can download the ebook.
Their email adressen I then want to use to send them a newsletter.
What I have tried:
I tried something with mailchinp - did not work (maybe with the paid version, but did not try that)
Then I tried Download manager (1.5.3), when I restrict access to email only, Users do get a form which requests their email adres and name and even offers a checkbox which they can check if they want to stay updated on additional news. After filling it in, they get an email with a download link and the link works. So far so good. But what I cannot find is where the entered name + email adres is stored? So I cannot use them to send a newsletter to.
Does anyone know where downloadmanager saves that data? Then I might be there already

Another thing I tried is FEU 1.21.18 in combination with download manager, so I can keep track of the users and also so that I can determine what data I want from them and with FEU mailform/mailer I can send them a simple newsletter email. I like this option because I dont have to type over the email adress manually to some sort of newsletter module/app etc.
But when I restrict access to the download file only to FEU users, when you click on the download file, it just opens a non CSS version of my site, looks really weird and I dont think that is what it was supposed to do, but I cannot find out why it does that.
Anyone an idea maybe?
And maybe there is an even better way to achieve what it is that I want, so any and all help/ideas etc that you guys can offer me would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
