Well, it's not so much the deleting of the post(s) that bother me. It's the lack of courtesy: an explanation, even if privately, could have been given. I'm also a moderator (here on the Portuguese Forum) and have been on some other forums elsewhere. I try not to do to others nothing that I wouldn't like someone to do to me.
That's all.
The posts lasted enough to be helpful to a bunch of people.

Re: [Solved] FrontEndUsers module crashes whole site on inst
Was a solution ever provided for this bug. My site runs perfectly until I install Cataloger, at which point I receive exactly the same error message as jmmpc.
Fatal error: Class 'CGExtensions' not found in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.co.uk/modules/FrontEndUsers/FrontEndUsers.module.php on line 41
Thanks,
Chris

Re: [Solved] FrontEndUsers module crashes whole site on inst
I had previously used the solution posted in this thread when I had problems upgrading FEU, and it worked for me. I ran into the issue again but I see that the post has been removed. Does anyone know of an accepted method for fixing the issue?
Re: FrontEndUsers module crashes whole site on install
I have hit the same issue again, this time when upgrading the FrontEndUser module from v1.21.18 to v1.22.3.
I did a Google search and discovered my previous post reporting this issue, but found the solution had gone.
I have since found the previous solution (that involved adding some additional lines of code to the FrontEndUsers.module.php file), I understand this is not recommended however.
Is there any alternative fix that will mean I don't have to add this code each time I upgrade?
Regards
James

IIRC this was an issue that was solved in CMSMS 1.11.11. It shouldn't happen any longer on updated sites.jmmpc wrote:Is there any alternative fix that will mean I don't have to add this code each time I upgrade?

Ah ok great.Jo Morg wrote:IIRC this was an issue that was solved in CMSMS 1.11.11. It shouldn't happen any longer on updated sites.
I'm currently battling with an upgrade from 1.11.8 to 1.11.11 (which has now got me stuck on the upgrade screen due to incorrect permissions on templates_c). But fingers crossed I'll see this FEU issue resolved once I get the upgrade working.
