[solved] showtime module 3.3 - problem once updated from 3.2

Installed our fresh 1.11.4 install today from showtime 3.2 to 3.3.
The slideshow on home was gone.
So i reinstalled 3.2.

I had similar problems with a couple of sites. The first site went wrong and I thought it was me. I ended up uninstalling Showtime and installing again, which meant I had to re-create the one slideshow from scratch.

The second site (1.11.4); I don't think it was me that made an error:

I had Showtime 3.2 installed, working well. Module Manager offered 3.3. I installed it by clicking Upgrade.

Then, the Showtime images on my home page were still showing (and sliding) but most of the styling had gone - e.g. there were no little circles which you could hover over to change image, instead there was an unstyled list 1-9 of blue links above the changing image.

Plus, Showtime was no longer available in the admin area.

I cleared cache and Showtime came back to the admin area - under Content. Styling on home page still messed up though.

I then went in to Content -> Showtime Slideshow and clicked Edit Show Settings on the one slide show I had. I hit Apply (without changing anything) and my home page slide show was back to normal - with correct style (in my case little red circles bottom right).

So I now have Showtime 3.3 working successfully.

So yeah, there does seem to be a problem with the upgrade...

I can confirm the issue. it also happened from 3.1 to 3.2 upgrade, maybe even before (i stopped counting :). saving the settings (without changing anything) always did the trick.
