[SOLVED] Cannot Download

Post by stefhoesli »

Hi there,

I moved my 1.10.3 installation to a new server. Then I performed an upgrade to version 1.11.9. Now I went to "Extensions" -> "Module Manager" to update the modules. But for all the pending updates I just see a "Cannot Download" as Status/Action.

Regards
Stef

It seams your new server is not be able to connect other servers. This is a security configuration of your server.

So you have to install the module updates manually ( download from CMSMS forge and upload the extracted sources via ftp to /modules folder).

Hi Chandra,

Thanks for your reply, but the connectivity is not the issue here. My server can connect to the repository: http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/ModuleRepo ... equest/v2/

I anyway now uploaded all current modules manually and deployed them to the modules folder (including upgrading in Extensions -> Modules). Howerer, this broke the "Edit Page" functionality... :-(
When I try to edit content, I now only see a gray area:

Regarding "Cannot download": I realized, that I didn't have the php curl extension installed...

Installed it now!

Solved this problem.
