FormBuilder 0.7.4 - Read before posting reports / posts

Post by Stikki »

Hello folks,

I just wanted to announce that changes we did to FormBuilder 0.7.4 weren't good enough, so before you guys start filling forum / bug reports like mad man, i wanted to announce there will be another release rather sooner than later.

We have to revise some of fields that were damaged during last upgrade and that takes time.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi,

At the time of upgrading a CMSMSsite to 1.9.4.3 the formbuilder module needed updating to, resulting in 0.7.4 and in errors on FormBuilderpages:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method FormBuilder::CreateInputEmail() in /home/caravans/domains/sitenaam.nl/public_html/modules/FormBuilder/classes/DispositionFromEmailAddressField.class.php on line 55

Probably FB 0.7.4 and CMSMS 1.9.4.3. are not compatible.
I may need to downgrade FormBuilder to 0.7.2, yet I do no know how to do so, I do not want to loose the formbulder-data in my forms.

Can you point me out how to downgrade; or: is there a topic dealing with the issue of downgrading modules?

Thank you
Regards, Wietze van der Schaaf

BACK UP YOUR INSTALL
1 Go to FormBuilder
2 Export all you custom forms (as XML)
3 Go to Extensions | Modules
4 Uninstall FormBulder
5 Upload FormBuilder 7.3 files (replacing 7.4)
6 Go to Extensions | Modlues
7 Install FormBuilder ( This will get you back to 7.3 )
8 Go to FormBuilder and import your exported forms

IMHO you should add a notice in the forge to warn people, along with dmdg's method of rolling back.

Or withdraw the 0.7.4 from the forge.

Cheers,
Alex

Could this thread be turned into a 'sticky' thread until the issue with formbuilder is resolved?

Decided finally take out the release.

I hope i can find time to fix these issues in near future.

Sorry that it was out so long.

Hi,
I have installed the 0.7.4 version and later I did downgrade to 0.7.3 and things worked well. I recently did modules upgrade including CGExtensions and from that moment the pages that contains FormBilder are broken.
I have the same situation on another domain. Please help! :(
