Gallery + Showtime

Hey guys, hope you are well. I have a site thats using Gallery + Showtime on the same page, if i choose showtime to use Nivo, other bits of jquery on the page stop working, and if i choose flash, everything works fine, but flash isnt really an option

Any suggestions on a fix?

Gallery and Showtime are using different jquery versions. You should check which one is loaded.

Ok, can i load both? Or would that kill it to?

As you can see loading both makes trouble. Loading both means trying to create two jquery instances. This will not work.

Only one version with highest number should be loaded.

Another way could be to integrate Nivo slider to Gallery module.

Hey thanks for the replies, ive tried removing an instance of jquery but this only removed all of the other jquery functions as well, although the gallery worked fine! LOL

There are a few things on the page using jquery, for example the social media stats at the top of the page.

I cant seem to find the reference for the the gallery module to load jquery so i can only remove the instance that i have put in, and this makes everything stop working...

Are you sure you switched off jquery in the ShowTime module? That feature is there for exactly this problem. Leave Gallery as "standard".
