Running CMSMS 1.11.7
I need to upload some 200 images and been trying to get my head around the Image Manager's system where it states 'drop files here to upload'.
In the absence of any instructions to do this that I can find, can anyone help me please?
Thank you. I am aware that there is probably a very simple solution but I can't see it!

Re: Bulk image upload
upload your images with FTP; Filezilla is free and good.

Re: Bulk image upload
Yes I know but the times I have tried it with other versions of CMSMS it did not work; the images never appeared in File Manager.
HOWEVER, thanks to your prompting and much to my chagrin, I have tried it again via FTP and, lo and behold, it worked!
I wonder why that is. Later versions of CMSMS?
I am now left with a lot of egg on my face!
Thanks anyway

Re: [SOLVED] Bulk image upload
Though I haven't tried uploading 200 files at one shot, I have uploaded a dozen images in one shot... and I have uploaded a 650mb ISO file with no difficulty.
I opened up my file manager, arranged my windows so both the file manager and the drop zone were visible simultaneously.
Then select the files I want to upload in the file manager, and drag / drop them onto the drop zone.

Re: [SOLVED] Bulk image upload
Yes, I did try that but I could never get the cmsms window to reduce so I could have 2 windows open. I don't know why. It is something I have done before with other applications.
Anyway, the problem is sorted and I can only thank everyone for their help.

Martin
