ListIt2 bad return URL [SOLVED]

Post by rotezecke »

I installed a fresh CMSMS 1.11.9 with latest ListIt2.
I created an instance and a few test items, and placed the tag on home page, as that's all there is at this point. i didnt touch the ListIt2 templates.
I get to detailed view OK, but the return link (both {$return_href} and {$return_link}) does not work.

this is the URL it tries to go to:
"http://rest.wallaby.nimfm.org/mario_san ... ion=detail"

and this is the error message:
"The requested URL /mario_santini/index.php was not found on this server."

the root of the CMS is httpdocs. the rest of CMSMS (not much there yet) seems to be fine.
there's not much these days in the config.php file, so I added

Code: Select all

$config['root_url'] = 'http://rest.wallaby.nimfm.org/mario_santini/httpdocs';
just to be sure (no difference).

this is the first time I play with ListIt2 so it's probably something stupid. however, this is pretty much straight out of the box. any ideas?

Edit: When I change the first & to ? of the return URL things work fine. looks like the query string is not required here.

it's my test machine with a dozen or so websites. i didnt bother to configure virtual hosts; till now, there has not been a need.
the return URL looks wrong, even if I had a clean url like "www.domain.com", the first & doesnt go there.
Try this:
google.com/& -> error
google.com/? -> OK

edit: just saw uniqu3's post. thanks.
