cggooglemaps / cggooglemaps2 difference?

Hi,

just found out that there's a cggooglemaps2 module ... what is the difference to the cggooglemaps module?

Are they compatible, can (should) cggooglemaps be upgraded to cggooglemaps2?

Afaik the CGGoogleMaps2 version is the improved version of CGGoogleMaps module.
I suspect CGGM will be deprecated in future...
For a new install I would go for the CGGM2 module!

Do you know whether I can export/import existing maps from cggooglemaps to cggooglemaps2?
