I have tried a search for it as I know there is a solution but can't find it now.
I have auto generated blank galleries in the database and it shows up in the Gallery Admin page. Like this http://www.jackstringer.co.uk/temp/galleryerror.png
If I try to delete them in the admin I loose all images in the Gallery folder.
PHP - 5.4
and my CMS 1.11.7 (now upgraded to 1.11.9)
I can remember there was a solution to this issue but can't remember what.

Re: Gallery Issue Blank galleries in database
What version of Gallery are you running? There was an error but it was corrected in 1.6.1 (current).

Re: Gallery Issue Blank galleries in database
1.6.1
IIRC it was an issue that only appeared after a major upgrade (CMS) and I moved servers from PHP 2.2.x to 2.3.x but due to the new server having reliabilty issues I had to move back to 2.2.x so didn't have to deal with it. But recently I moved it onto anther server running 2.4.x and the problem has returned. Is it down to how I call Gallery from within News {Gallery} rather then {module="gallery"}(I know the syntax is wrong but you know what I mean).
