How to display JM Forum

Post by aramide »

Hi Forum,

Please could someone who is using JM Forum give me instruction on how to display it. After creating forums at the backend and inserting {JM_Forum} to the template, all I get as output is "no forums available". How do I get its modules to display so that my clients can start posting

Given the lack of detailed info I can only assume that you didn't configure each forum FEU interaction properly, such as:
  • - Members: (select a group here if not guest allowed);
  • - Moderators: (optionally select a group here);
  • - Allow guest read topic/post: (set to yes if everyone can read posts, etc);
  • - Allow guests to write topics/posts: (not recommended);
  • - Approve topic/post from forum moderator: (either option);
These are mostly explained in the Module Help.
"There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary... and those who don't."
* by the way: English is NOT my native language (sorry for any mistakes...).
