Using 1.11.8
Three times this year I have had an occurrence of bulk emails being sent from client websites. I know the basic things to do such as strengthen passwords etc but in the email the hosting company sent me it says:
The most common cause of bulk emails being unknowingly sent from your account are due to outdated version of a web script being actively ran.
What sort of script are they talking about?
Is this something I can control via CMSMS? My own computer is well protected but how do I protect all my online client sites?
Thanks

Re: Bulk emails being sent from email account
Do a file checksum in the admin. Site might be hacked and files are changed.
Also check this site http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/www ... /index.php It will search the site for strange behaviour.
