Newsletter Made Simple (NMS)

Hi Everyone this is my first post and sorry it has to be an issue! I actually like CMS and as a person with really bad knowledge of websites, I think I get the hang of it!

My developer installed the syntax for NMS which is
{cms_module module='NMS'} so what happens is that after a person on the website subscribes to the newsletter, I do not receive the information. It just seems to disappear and there is no thank you to tell the person they have subscribed!

I would be grateful if a wizard can tell me where I am going wrong.
