Showtime and HTTPS

Post by CMSmonkey »

Hi Everyone,
I have a site that is running the Showtime module. On pages that are secure, the Showtime slider freezes and is positioned in the top left-hand corner.

This is happening on Firefox 23 and Chrome. Safari is not having this issue.

Reviewing over Firefox's error console, I am getting the following error "Blocked loading mixed active content" next to all of the Showtime scripts.

According to Firefox, Firefox 23 now blocks mixed active content (content that is HTTP) on a secure page.

Is there an easy way I can run the jquery scripts for Showtime as HTTPS when I am on the secure pages? I quick fix would be just to replace all of the [root_url] with [ssl_url] in the Showtime files, but I'm looking for something more practical.

Thanks in advance.
