Global Content Block? IE Page Width? Bewildered newbie - PLEASE HELP!

I stumbled across CMSMS a week ago when looking to add a user updatable page to an existing site, but it's damn good I intend to completely redo the site using CMSMS.

I've got to grips with most things but the "Global Content Block for IE Page Width" has driven me to the edge of sanity.  I've trawled the forums and read the FAQs but I still don't get it.

I've found the bit in the Admin screen relating to the IE Global Content Block but it just says .  Shouldn't there be something in there like {width:expression(P7_MinMaxW(720,950));}   Where do I edit these values?

Also, whilst grapping with this problem, I think I may have broken my default install as, although the page isn't too wide in Firefox, it fills the whole page in IE.  I've compared the page source with the default install at www.opensourcecms.com and mine is missing the IE page width section.  Can this be fixed or do I need to reinstall and start again?

looking in the global content block it looks like it's all messed up, but if you clik the 'Source' button you should see :.

the tag in your template is {global_content name='JavaScript for IE page width'} copy/paste this in the template and see if it helps :..

Thanks for your prompt reply.  I've done as suggested and my problem with IE being too wide has been fixed.  What I'd failed to grasp (on my steep learning curve) was that when (in the Global Content Block section of the Admin screen) it said {literal} {/literal} if I clicked the Source button WITHIN the editor lots more would be revealed.

I'm off to try to work out the correlation between "em" and pixels, to get my Firefox looking similar to IE.
