[Solved]Usual version of Admin main page doesn't open

Using latest version CMSMS and modules up to date

I have been working on a site and must have inadvertently stuffed something up as now when I login to Admin, instead of the normal Home page of Admin being displayed, I just see the non-styled list of pages etc down the left-hand side. I can click on them and they too don't open correctly - just the same non-styled list.

It reminds me of the situation when a stylesheet has not been attached properly and all one sees is the list of pages with no layout.

Does anyone have any idea how to get this back to normal?

Now you need to set php error logging on again...

And sometimes looking at the browsers html source and find where the html stops can hint where to search for (e.g. breaking module).

So no quick solution Not that I'm laughing!

I have placed my other problems in the hands of the host to see what they can do. They have told me where the php.ini file is and they are working on why I am getting the warning when upgrading so I won't go poking around while they are doing that.

This issue may be unrelated. Will come back to it ASAP.

Can't believe my brain wasn't working yesterday - last night realised I could simply restore a previous version of CMSMS for this site and this solved the problem

You can either continue to work blindly or find/enable your error logs/debug mode/admin log and learn to read them.

Either way, if you need help with a problem, we need more information.

You are quite right, calguy1000 - I should never have posted that. I was so intent on my other posts re being unable to upload images via Image Manager (and I'm not alone on this one) and trying to sort out why I get warnings about disabling E_DEPRECATED everytime I try to upgrade a site, that it was one problem too many. Easily fixed of course.
