[solved]website very slow

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved]website very slow

Post by gionda »

Hello,
my website, at times, it is very slow, both the backend to the frontend.
What could have happened? is a database problem or hosting?
I attach the debug file.
Thanks

More information about the problem would be helpful in diagnosing the issue.

Are other sites on the same server running ok? Do sites on the same server running other software (e.g. WordPress) run ok? Has the problem always existed with this site? How long has it been happening? How slow is "slow"? etc...

Code: Select all

Debug: (0.248916) - (usage: 3350344) - (peak: 3408736)
Initialize Smarty
...
Debug: (0.450962) - (usage: 5616576) - (peak: 5905976)
Done Initialiing Smarty
Debug display of 'Loading Modules':(0.472237) - (usage: 5617040) - (peak: 5911608)
0.45 seconds and 5.9mb of ram and modules aren't loaded yet. This looks like a classic example of an overloaded server. Particularly if you say that the problem only occurs 'sometimes'.

so it depends from hosting. i was scared that it was a database's problem. 296 pages are to much? i'll try to call the hosting service.
thanks

you are at 1/2 a second before the pages are even loaded.

and no, 300 pages are not too much.
