Thanks Elijah.
Now, I know the previous poster has asked this question, but where do I find the modified file to upload to make this happen, or do I have to download cmsms again in zip etc and upload to server.
It would be nicer if I only had to download/upload a few files instead.
Regards.
Mike.

Re: Removing elements
You could try downloading the following files, but I'm guessing there's probably been changes that will prevent them from working unless everything is running CMSMS 1.0 SVN:muscroft wrote: Now, I know the previous poster has asked this question, but where do I find the modified file to upload to make this happen, or do I have to download cmsms again in zip etc and upload to server.

I think Ted is planning to release a beta of CMSMS 1.0 this weekend, if the above doesn't work, I'd try that.

Note: I don't have time to take on any more projects. I'm quite busy. I may be too busy to reply to emails or messages. Thanks for your understanding.

Re: Removing elements
If you had a previous installation of CMSMS, run install/upgrade.phpchrisinoz wrote: Hi Elijah
I think this option to show/hide help is wise.
Just uploaded the latest versioin to start a site.
I am green to how to make the upgrade to the CMS.
Please can you help here or point me to an article that explains how to implement the change.
If this is a new installation run install/install.php
These links have some useful info:

Re: Removing elements
Thanks Elijah
Mike asked the question clearer than me. I Installed a new version last week but did not know what files to load up.
You answered that.
I see you are suggesting I wait a couple of days for the latest CMSMS 1.0 SVN.
So my next question is how will i know when the latest SVN is up and where would I get that from.
Thanks
Chris

If Ted releases a beta this weekend I'm sure he'll post an announcement.chrisinoz wrote: I see you are suggesting I wait a couple of days for the latest CMSMS 1.0 SVN.

If you'd like to run the latest SVN now you can download it here: http://cmsmadesimple.org/cms-daily.tar.gz
Or if you have Subversion installed you can run this command:
Code: Select all
svn checkout http://svn.cmsmadesimple.org/svn/cmsmadesimple/trunk
