Search Only Specific Sections ?

I need to have a free text search that only searches specific page sections i.e. specific top level pages and their sub-pages or at least only displays results from those sections of standard content pages.

Anyone got any ideas or know of a UDT or mod to the search module in order to do this?

Every page has a checkbox in the options tab to make it searchable or not

I presume he means something like this where you can search specific sections.
