[SOLVED]Intregrating Video Chat with CMSMS

Post by blackhawk »

The answer to this question may be a fierce no, but i will attempt to ask anyway. I am trying to build a CMSMS system, that will allow a member (FEU) to chat with an admin user directly on the web site.

But I have 2 requirements I am trying to fullfil and I am not sure if anyone has attempted the following...

1.Allowing the chat to be video ready so each person can see each other. (optional feature if the user has a video cam)

2.Making the chat private between 2 people. Meaning that no one else can jump in the middle of the chat unless the host invited them into it.

Possible?

In any regards, I'm going to install this module and play with it....

Thanks

I would be leery of any module that hasn't had work done on it in so long, 28~30 months ago...

It appears the best thing I have test out so far is to create a FEU account for members to access, and once they do...I can post a video chat room link directly onto their member page, which they can click on to enter the conference. I'm finding that this process works ok with applications such as Google Hangouts. Not too much integration between CMSMS and Google Hangouts, but it works and gets the job done.

This is good enough for me for now.

Thanks
