[FIXED] TinyMCE not showing page content

Post by slabbe »

When I try to change page content, TinyMCE is not showing the content of the page I want to modify. I get a JS error on pageload saying:

Code: Select all

TypeError: Cannot call method 'replace' of undefined [http://mydomain/modules/TinyMCE/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js:1]
If I try with MicroTiny everything is showing up...

I need TinyMCE because many pages having tables in content and my web collaborators need to modify them time to time.

CMSMS 1.11.6
TinyMCE 2.9.12

Make sure you don't have any yellow ! or red X in system info page, system info here would be helpful...

Via XML or FTP. If by XML then try FTP as TinyMCE can be somewhat erratic at times.

It used to give problems if the folder permissions weren't set just so, for me that meant /modules and /tinyMCE needed 755...

Fixed that by uninstalling tinymce, cleared the cache, then reinstalled it. At this time, still doesn't work. Cleaned the cache a second time, and now it works.
