Cataloger -how to customize templates?

Hi. I have some problems with Cataloger 0.4.2. + CMSms 0.13
I have to customize categories and items template, but:
- in categories template I can't find how to visualize personalized informations
- in items template I can't find the way to organize templates with divs and spans, in order to format it with css.
I don't know php, only xhtml & css.
Any example of template personalization?
