no files shown trying to link.

Post by ryde »

Hello all,

I have a problem trying to setup a link in a page (0-11.2 version of cmsms). I have done the following:

I have developed a site on a server where I made an installation of cmsms. If I upload a file and then I try to link the file on a (content) page, that works very nicely.

After that, I moved the whole site to another server and everything seems to work fine EXCEPT for the fact that when I try to setup a link in a (content) page, the directory that is displayed when clicking "browse server" is always empty. However, when I check with ftp, I know the files are there. I checked permissions and all that but that seems to be ok. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Eeuuhh, well I did a bit more digging and it seems that applying the security patch in the connector.php file (that was one thing I did after moving the site, sorry, forgot all about it)  is causing this problem (at leest in the 0.11.2 version).

Any ideas how to apply the security patch and still keeping things working?

Thanks,

Could it be that you've simply failed to update the default paths in your config.php file?

I'm having the same problem from my home PC in that there are no files displayed in the File Manager for FCK EditorX when trying to create links to files. The linking works fine from my work PC however. Bizarre. Local firewall issue? I just don't know.

If you solve this issue be sure to post the solution here.

Well, like I said: removing the proposed patch for the security issue in the connector.php file solves the problem. But you do not want to have this security hole so, I'll try to find out how to solve this issue. I will keep you informed.
