Re: Admin theme lost
I have only been using default theme. I have not found out how I change admin theme. To my knowledge, I did nothing to change this when upgrading.
Re: Admin theme lost
You don't say which version you upgraded from/to. Did you hit refresh a few times? Sometimes when I upgrade some files are still in browser cache and it needs a hard refresh to clear them out for the new ones. Post your system info.
Re: Admin theme lost
Go in the Admin to: My Preferences >> My Account >> User Preferences
and change setting Administration Theme to NCleanGrey or OneEleven

Re: Admin theme lost
If you don't have access to the adminsection, you have to change the theme using phpMyAdmin. Normally you can find it in the control panel of your hostingprovider.
Look for _userprefs, set admintheme to NCleanGrey or OneEleven
