Not able to set up desired url for cgblog module blog posts.

Post by suadmin »

Hi Everyone,

I have cgblog module version 1.6 for displaying blog post on my website.

Now because of better seo i want my current blog detail urls: http://www.intesols.com.au/cgblog/62/Th ... ralia.html

to be displayed as
http://www.intesols.com.au/blog/The-hot ... ralia.html

I tried using using the following option and setting it to blog
"Prefix to use on all URLS from the blog module:"
but i get errors on the page.

Also how can i remove the post number from url.

Please advice what can be done..

Regards,
Anisha

You can change the /cgblog/ part to /blog/ in the admin of CGBlog, as for removing the numbers it is not really possible as they are needed for return ID and article ID...
