[SOLVED] MicroTiny table guides not displaying

Hi,
I have 2 sites in both of which I'm wanting to put a table into the MicroTiny editor, to help with formatting. I don't want the table borders to display on the site, but just as dotted lines in the editor.

In one site I can see the guides, but in the other I can't. As far as I can see they both have identical settings, I'm using version 1.11.5 on both, on both Firefox and Chome.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing please?

(And as I'm still very much a novice, please reply in easy language!

I could of course use TinyMCE as the editor, as this does display the cell borders, but I don't seem to be able to increase the size of the editing window in this, whereas I can in MicroTiny. If anyone can tell me how to enlarge the window it would solve my immediate issue.

Tinymce has a setting for that!

Extensions > TinyMCE WYSIWYG > Settings

there you can set the width and the height of the editor field if you uncheck auto
