1.11.5 update.

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

1.11.5 update.

Post by darkfool58 »

I have tried to upgrade to 1.11.5 using the upgrade.txt instructions i have got to step 5 and when i went to install/upgrade.php and clicked next on the step 1 of the upgrade it hung.

so i decided to close the tab on my browser window and when i now go to install/upgrade.php it doesnt even load the check sum page yet i can get into the admin console and get the following two errors.

Core Warning: install directory still exists. Please remove it completely.
Core Warning: Your site is currently showing a "Site Down for Maintenance" message. Remove the /home/darkfool58/public_html/tmp/cache/SITEDOWN file to resolve this.

Is this just a matter of time for the php thread to time out or do i need to perform a different action?

Thanks

When doing a "point upgrade" from 1.11.4 to 1.11.5 you don't need to do the upgrade procedure, because there are no database changes. Just fixes to files.
In this case you can better use the diff file.

Now if you delete the /install folder and the file tmp/cache/SITEDOWN you will be ready!
