Gallery - creating duplicate page

I'm trying to clean up a website for SEO and what have you and i have a confusing violation involving the gallery module.

I have a number of albums created, my main gallery page just has the {gallery} tag displaying the thumbs and linking to each album. However my main gallery page seems to contain multiple canonical formats. each album links back to "gallery/67" when the actual gallery page is just "gallery/". But the problem is but pages show the same thing, creating issues.

How can i delete this gallery/67? or atleast stop albums linking to this page that i didnt create but seems to always be there.

Whilst waiting for this thread to be approved i have solved the problem.

There was a conflict between the images i had upload to the gallery module and the same images that had been displayed along side text in other pages. It didnt like the same images being accessible from two different address. for example, "uploads/images" and "uploads/images/gallery..."

I just deleted the old uploads and reploaded the photos using the ones saved in the gallery folder.

As for multiple galleries, i created my own gallery 'front' page and then created seperate pages each with the relevant album tag. I also removed the default 'return to top gallery' link and put my own in.

all trial and error. i'm new to this
