Upgrade from 1.9.4.3 to 1.11.4 crashes

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Upgrade from 1.9.4.3 to 1.11.4 crashes

Post by bob_basli »

I want/need to upgrade my site from 1.9.4.3 to 1.11.4. I tried almost every possible step (first from 1.9.4.3 to 1.10 an the onward and this step)
In both cases the upgrade stalls at building static root database.
Database is running php 5.2.17.
Any cluess?

Regards,
Arjan

are all your modules up-to-date? Some modules like guestbook block upgrading.

Actually not exactly root but route: maybe this will help.

My suggestion: Post the report from Site Admin -> System Information after you have updated modules; this will probably help diagnose problems.

That's quite a list of modules. Does the site use them all? If not I would start removing those it doesn't use.

Check the status of the others at http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/ - put the name in the search box. Some don't appear (e.g. FCKeditorX is no longer supported or listed).

The more you can get rid of the greater your chance of a successful upgrade.
