[solved] Newbee, installation question on versions

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] Newbee, installation question on versions

Post by okp »

Hello, I am quit new to CMSMS. I'm talked into this by a friend who is very enthousiastic about CMSMS. I have installed it and played around a bit and it looks great.
My question is:
Do the following combinations work well together?
I hvae downloaded and installed the latest version 1.11.4 .
I have PHP version 5.4.14 running on a Linux server, linux 2.6.18-194.32.1.el5 on i686

apache/2.2.16 (unix) mod_ssl/2.2.16 openssl/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 frontpage/5.0.2.2635 php/5.2.14

My SQL: 5.0.96

The installation worked well, but I get a caution mark at the version 5.2.14. Will that be an issue?
I have the same mark at this line: Session Save Path (session_save_path) No check because open basedir active
and I have a red cross at this line:
root_path: (failure) /home/omni/public_html/cms (0755)

Is there anything that I should do? or can I leave it like that?
It worked well till I installed the FCKeditorx module, that one keeps flipping. I removed it and reïnstalled it and now it is messed up.
I might do a clean install of CMSMS, but then I need to be sure if above requirements are OK.

Here is what I got:

You better do not use FCKeditor. I don't even see it in the Forge anymore, so where did you get it from?

If you want extended functionality for your WYSIWYG editor, then use TinyMCE. That module is well supported.
