unknown tag JQueryTools

I am having trouble getting my installation to recognize JQueryTools on my content pages. When I include the tag in my page it produces the error console with the error:

I placed {JQeryTools action=placemarker nocache} in the page's metadata and the {JQueryTools action=require lib=fancybox nocache} in the content area.

JQueryTools was installed via the Module Manager as part of CompanyDirectory.

Would the server's older php version be the issue? It is 5.2.17 (server admin said they would upgrade to 5.3 when it becomes absolutely necessary).

Any ideas?
