Using News module, version 2.10.6 and News archive listing with pagination the URL links end up way too long and unfriendly to search engines, while elsewhere we can have customised URLs including keywords.
Example:
http://www.professorthailand.com/index. ... 0&page=260

Use lesser parameters in your {news ...} tag.
For example if you use the detailtemplate parameter, you will get "ugly" urls in stead of pretty urls.

Re: How to get clean SEO-friendly URL for News Archive
We are in fact using very few parametres of those available! I am stunned by the fact that that there is no suggestion. One would think that thousands of websites using the New module to publish articles and using the Archive would have exactly the same concern. And this is a Core feature! Sure this must be a known issue? Anyone out there to give a solid suggestion and reference to solution? Input much appreciated!
