Problems upgrading from 1.11.2 to 1.11.4

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Problems upgrading from 1.11.2 to 1.11.4

Post by PatriotsJase »

I've just upgraded our website from 1.11.2 to 1.11.4 and now have the following problems:

* No pages are being displayed in the 'edit page' mode, and

* The 'copy page' function ends with a blank screen being displayed.

All other CMS functionality appears to be working fine.

No errors were displayed during the upgrade, the cache has been cleared, DB integrity has been checked, on-line display of pages is ok and multiple browsers and versions have been tried.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Jase

I confirm, editing pages after upgrading to 1.11.4 from 1.11.3 is not possible - server error 500 in access.log on opening pages for editing. Looking at source it seems CMSMS tries to load whole page template and gets to error 500 with loading menus.
Site's pages worked fine, but had to clear cache and update routes for News module to work. The latter problem appeared with 1.11.3 and it seems it has still not been fixed.

I tried to reproduce in two install, both work.

Did you try to Clear Cache?

Rolf,
Thanks for looking into this.
I did try to clear the cache, but this didn't help. Am guessing the issue has to do with the modules I have installed.

Eg ECB and CGContentUtils both interact with the core content module, I assume.

Cheers!

same probleem at arvixe.com and one.com. Problem seemded to be solved after reuploading the full diff files and clearing the cache twice. When I logged in again the problem occured again.

I have 2 sites at one.com without problems, and the other sites have.

I can edit and save pages with Content type "external link".

Same problem here. I just upgraded using the whole English version.
Pages can not be displayed to edit. The pages try to load the default web page.
Also, templates can not be edited.

Tried to clear the cache but that didn't work for me.

What do I have to do to turn off all caching?
I think I already have it all shut down but still can't edit any page. Perhaps I forgot something.
