I constructed a new site by modifying the sample pages and menus in the CMSMS installation. Now my sub-pages have URL aliases inherited from the original structure. Can they be changed somewhere? I tried changing them in the database, but that just made the pages inaccessible.

When you're editing a page, you can click on the options tab and modify the page alias manually.
