Admin redesign and the road to 1.0

I think we're finally on the road to a 1.0. Most of the major features I want are there, and this might be the point where I have to start writing new stuff and start polishing up what we have here. There is a lot of great functionality here, but it needs an overhaul to look as good as it is...

For a 1.0 to happen, we need 2 major things:

1. Admin redesign. More on that in a minute.
2. Documentation!!! This is VERY important. I need to find some people who are good at writing stuff to help me with this. I'm not a good writer. I have no command of the English language. I can't (or can be motivated enough to) do it by myself. If anyone is interested in the cause, please go at it. The wiki is always avaiable and ready for entries.

As for an admin rewrite. I need a designer or two to help me with this one. I have ideas in my head, but no talent to make it happen. Basically, the admin should become more task oriented. Things that currently don't make a ton of sense need to be easier to use. Most of the functionality will stay, but it would be layed out and presented differently.

Think old Windows 2000 control panel vs Windows XP control panel. It's the same stuff, just organized differently.

If anyone wants to help with the cause (and it's a big project), please let me know. Plan to hang out on IRC, as that's where me make a lot of decisions and can coordinate and plan much more easily...

There are other major features that have been asked about an promised. However, they will probably wait until a post 1.0 release to come to life. I think we have functionality here to make an excellent 1.0 release and would like to start working towards it.

Anyways, the goal right now is 0.10 and then 1.0, with some minor releases in between. Please help me make it a reality if you can.
