Wishbone - that would be really good! So much to do ...so little time! Even as it is, I will find this very useful.
Have had a look at your FAQ's, gocreative - very impressive!
I will do a manual that can then be used on all sites with individual adjustments as necessary.
Thanks!
[Solved]Options for teaching clients to use CMSMS
Re: [Solved]Options for teaching clients to use CMSMS
Good afternoon Wishbone
Getting on well with my Owners Manual. Is there a trick to adding an image? I set up a folder in Image Manager, editorsmanual and uploaded an image. All that shows in the Manual is the Alt. I checked the HTML and the path seems correct: <img src="uploads/images/editorsmanual/001.jpg" alt="Admin Page" / height, width etc>. I can see the image in the Edit page but not in the Manual.
Any ideas or is it not possible at this stage to add an image?
Thanks for your time.

From what you've said, could it be a path issue? i.e. from the admin, there's no 'uploads' subfolder. Try adding a backslash in front of it.

Hi gocreative
Thanks for reply
I am sure it is a path issue but I'm not sure where to upload the image. I see what you mean about Admin not being part of the site as such. So where do I upload the image? I added a / in front of "uploads" but I suppose the image should actually be located somewhere else.

Re: [Solved]Options for teaching clients to use CMSMS
I fixed this awhile back in SVN, but haven't released it yet. It is a path issue. TinyMCE generates relative paths by default, and all paths are relative from your install dir. When you are viewing the doc from the back end, you are currently in the /admin directory, and all image links are broken.
I'll release this as soon as possible.

Thanks Wishbone - looking forward to it.
Re: [Solved]Options for teaching clients to use CMSMS
It would be useful to be able to include an illustration/photo. In the meantime, I found that, in Edit view, manually adding the full url path to the image worked.
NB Going back to Edit and selecting view HTML will throw out the absolute path using MicroTiny.
