Statistics Module - Where to put the tag?

So, I was planning to use the statistics module. Is there a prefered place to put the tag? Is just the beginning of the body fine?

Put it where you want - Statistics module has not a frontend  ...

I haven't had alot of time to try it out yet but it doesn't seem to pick up on the Safari browser.
Any ideas?
