[SOLVED]Gallery v.1.6 and CMSMS v. 1.11.2.1: template issue.

upgraded CMSMS to 1.11.2.1 from 1.10.xx unfinished website.
Installed Gallery 1.6 module.

In previous versions of Gallery, the list of templates loaded was shown at the frond-end for admin and one could choose the default template to use. In this version there are no templates shown under 'templates' BUT all the normal templates are loaded on to the server at ../modules/Gallery/templates/

If I try to call a gallery on a page using eg: {Gallery dir='Large-apartment'} I get the messages:
Error: at line 127 in file /home/***/public_html/lib/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php:

and

Unable to load template module_db_tpl 'Gallery;'

How do I get the templates to show please and why do I get these error messages?

Something must have gone wrong during the install of Gallery. Can you specify how you installed? via ModuleManager or otherwise?

I should have thought about this before!

Gallery was loaded via FTP and then installed.

I have now deleted it, and reinstalled via Module Manager.
