problem with the site cmsmadesimple.org

Post by matcheux »

there's a problem with the site cmsmadesimple.org (section demo, download,...).
When I try to go on the demo section or the download section I have a html page with things like that :
{nocache:be711f8a98d441512622849bdeb8d76a#1} instead of the real page.
Hope it's not an important bug.

The cmsms.org site has been upgraded since 0.1 and for some reason I keep getting this issue.  No idea where it's coming from, and when I clear the cache, it works fine.  I've never seen on any other site where it just stops working after awhile.  I'm assuming I have a really old field or some other incompatibility from all of the upgrades that have happened over the years.

I'm seeing this too... I hope this doesn't ever happen to my cmsms sites... in light of this, would you recommend not doing excessive "upgrades" and instead do a full install and somehow recreate the website every once in a while?

update: just read the reply again, and I guess, if you're comfortable that it's somehow related to your very old original version, then I guess I'm comfortable too, since I just started with .12 something and am now on .13

Thinking about it, it's also 0.13 beta2 with the security fix applied.  I should probably upgrade it to 0.13 final.  Just been lazy...
