[SOLVED] 'Forgot your Password' on 1.11 login not working

Does anyone have a quick-fix for this?

If I click the "Forgot your Password?" link on the login page of the new 1.11.1 admin, I don't get the email to reset the password sent to me.

I have set up the CMSMailer and sent a test email which came through OK.

Any ideas?

did you look in your spambox? did you enter the correct emailaddress whne you entered the user?

You can check the DB to see if the email address is correct if you can't get into the admin...

I'm not actually having a problem getting into a CMSms admin. I am working on a few admin theme changes for the 1.11 version.

I was testing the login and trying all the functionality of the login page.
I thought it could have been the CMSMailer settings so I double checked those and they are correct. The CMSMailer test email sends to the same email address as my Administrator account and is received OK.

But when I click the 'Forgot your Password' link on the login page, it asks me for my login username (I only have one, the original setup Administrator account called 'admin'). The email address is OK but I don't get an email sent to me with instructions on how to change my password.

Is anyone else having this same problem?

I have the same problem on my local testsite (cmsms 1.11.1 default installation).
A testmail in CMSmailer is working ok, but the Forgot Password does not send me a mail. All fields of user 'admin' are filled, and the email settings are correct.

Confirmed for OneEleven admin theme.
Will be fixed in 1.11.2 release.

Temporary fix is setting NCleanGrey theme in Global Settings.

Hi mlestat1131,

Do you have basic knowledge of phpMyAdmin in the control panel of your provider. I mean, do you know how to look into the tables of your cms database. If so, pm me for more help.
